Removing Permanent Marker?

I need help getting permanent marker off of my 2010 world cup ball because i asked my step dad to write my name on it and he wrote something else that i can't get off it was extremely stupid of him to do that and i won't talk to him for a very looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo… time! I need help quick and i already tried nail polish remover and some stuff called COMET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
